Ministry Change

We have been blessed in our times of ministry at churches, camps, retreats, and outreaches. We've been in Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, and of course Pennsylvania..., oh and not to mention Nicaragua. And these last few years of traveling have been incredibly formative for our character, style of ministry, and walk with God.

This year we are expanding again as we will be periodically teaming up with Greg & Robin Hubbard. Wow..., we're so overwhelmed with the opportunity to partner with such an anointed couple that have been blazing the evangelistic trail for a number of years now.Gregrobyn7_sm

This opportunity is already taking us through doors that probably would have never been open to us at this stage in our ministry. We'll be with them this upcoming week at Calvary Temple in Wayne, NJ. Our role will be to facilitate times of worship around the altar that will create an atmosphere for the miraculous, sing a few songs to help prepare hearts for the message, and just be supporters of Greg & Robin in whatever way we can.

There's one change..., stay tuned for more!!!

Year of Change

Change is always an uncomfortable feeling to me. Growing up in a small rural community, it was implanted into me that slow, steady, hard work always pays off. Which that is definitely true, however, often that mindset creates a lack of room for positive change.

Katie and I named this year the year of change for us. Change in the way that we want to see exponential growth and increase in our marriage, family, ministry, and quality of life in general. Now that doesn't mean I'm going to become a polygamist or have sextuplet babies or shift in ministry focus or become a millionaire (although that last one might be pretty nice, Lord:-). What it does mean is that we are striving to become more like Christ in our lives, so we can advance in His perfect will.

In order for me to grow, I must change. The natural growth process in our bodies is change. Who can forget those pubescent teenage years? Change was absolutely uncomfortable, but absolutely necessary for us to become the man/woman God has created to be (now everybody run to a mirror to see if a pimple took up residence on your mug!)

Over my next few posts I'll write how our year is already reflecting what God placed in our hearts.
